Position overview: Account Manager

As client facing, full-time Account Manager in our Tokyo office, you will play a crucial role in seamlessly integrating projects, people, timelines, and costs. You’ll work cross-functionally on strategy, CI, campaigns, events, and marketing/communication initiatives. Your main focus will be on strategic planning, project management, and effective communication. Additionally, you'll be responsible for generating new business and converting leads, embracing a startup mentality to build and scale the team and operations.

Key responsibilities

•    Generate new business opportunities and convert leads into clients.
•    Serve as the main point of contact for clients.
•    Understand client needs and present innovative solutions.
•    Maintain high standards of client service, teamwork, and innovation.
•    Collaborate with creative teams to develop unique campaigns.
•    Manage campaigns, events, and marketing projects in a fast-paced environment.
•    Balance team resources and strategic initiatives.
•    Coordinate with employees, contractors, and vendors for timely delivery.
•    Develop marketing solutions and improve features and functionalities.
•    Create business cases, manage timelines, and control project scope and costs.
•    Ensure clear communication and alignment across cross-functional teams.
•    Draft detailed briefs outlining business requirements and user experiences.
•    Handle creative approvals with senior management and partners.
•    Oversee team outputs to ensure quality deliverables.
 

What we're looking for

•    Experience in a creative agency or leading a team in similar tasks.
•    Proven sales experience with a track record of generating business and converting leads.
•    Startup mentality with the ability to build and scale teams.
•    Fluent in Japanese (business level) and proficient in English.
•    BSc. (preferably MSc.) in business, marketing, communication, or a related field.
•    Knowledge of the latest marketing trends and a willingness to stay updated.
•    Experience in leading small teams.
•    Strong project management and marketing skills.
•    Proficiency in MarTech and AI tools.
•    Familiarity with project management tools.
•    Nice to have: International experience in a global company or working abroad.
 

Language Requirements

  • Business-level Japanese (BJT J1 or J1+ or native).
  • Proficiency in English (minimum TOEIC 850).

Employment Details

•    Full-time position with office attendance required. Hybrid models are negotiable.
•    Mild business travel may be required.
