The Red Bull Illume Image Quest 2021 saw 41,447 images submitted from 7,671 photographers from over 100 countries. These were eventually whittled down by a respected 50 strong panel of judges to 56 finalist images, 11 category winners and ultimately one overall winner. The total value of prizes on offer to the winners was more than €200,000, provided by the global partners.

The overall reach across the website, social media and earned media for 2021 was an incredible 2.8 billion contacts. With your brand logo integrated across all digital assets from flyers to posters, press releases, newsletters and the website, that’s a lot of visibility. 

We also offer integration into our stories, not just our own channels but in earned special interest channels in the sports, photography and news media. Red Bull’s global communications channels also help to amplify the message around the world. Furthermore, many Red Bull Illume photographers are influencers themselves, helping to spread and word. Former winner and 2021 judge Chris Burkard for example helped to share the buzz and excitement to his 3.8m followers.
