Since its first edition over 14 years ago, Red Bull X-Alps has gone from strength to strength and returned every two years since. Coordinating a two-week race with live coverage across 1200km of unforgiving mountainous terrain is a logistical challenge to say the least, but this is exactly what we live for!

In July of this year, 31 athletes from 20 nations set off once again through the Alps from Salzburg to Monaco. Our events team was there to follow every step; from runners, photographers, and film crews, to our communications team back in the office.

To celebrate the successful completion of yet another internationally renowned event, we put together a 52-minute documentary about the race. Released just in time for the Christmas break, the entire video is jam-packed with the hottest action and best moments from Red Bull X-Alps 2017.
