The world's thoughest adventure race starts
Red Bull X-Alps 2025
The world’s toughest adventure race is about to take off in Kitzbühel – Kirchberg, Austria. 33 athletes are ready for this epic hike and fly adventure, which takes them 1,283km across the Alps. They have to pass 16 mandatory Turnpoints in five countries – Austria, France, Germany, Italy and Switzerland – including one never seen before X-Turnpoint in the Swiss resort St. Moritz. This one they have to pass twice, once on their way out and again on their way to goal. The main race starts on Sunday, June 15 at 11.30 at the town center of Kitzbühel and ends on June 27 in Zell am See.
Never miss a second with 3D Live Tracking
The best way to follow this epic race is via the updated 3D Live Tracking on redbullxalps.com. The new features include the weather display, the 3D standard view and updates on the athletes’ position every second.
All of this has been developed in-house by the zooom digital team in cooperation with Naviter, Garmin, Esri and Ubilabs. The work on improving the 3D Live Tracking started right after the 2023 Red Bull X-Alps edition to make the experience for fans and organizers even better and more accurate. Thanks to their outstanding work the hike and fly race is a truly immersive experience.

It's a team effort
The race is owned, managed and run by zooom productions – and it’s always one of the busiest events in our calendar. Our international partners – Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Angelbird and Salewa (just to name a few) – play a big role in executing Red Bull X-Alps successfully. We are also proud to work with some of the biggest names in the tourism industry, Kitzbühel, St. Moritz, Les 2 Alpes and Zell am See are some of our Turnpoint partners.
