Vogl's Nest — Where a family vision becomes a brand
REINVENTING TRADITION
Just a stone’s throw from our agency in Fuschl am See, a familiar lakeside address has entered a new chapter. After three decades as the family-run Landhotel Schützenhof, the hotel was ready to reimagine itself by bringing it forward with clarity and intention.
The Vogl family had a clear ambition: to create a place where time slows down and the essentials take center stage. zooom was commissioned to lead the full brand relaunch — from brand strategy and hotel concept development to naming, corporate identity and communication concept.
THE NAME SAYS IT ALL
From this process, Vogl’s Nest was born — inspired by the hosting family’s name and the universal image of a nest as a place of warmth, safety and arrival. It carries the family's identity without demanding explanation.
The brand claim „Einfach mal sein"(“Simply be”) brings the feeling to the point. It expresses the hotel's invitation in the simplest possible way: less noise, more presence. Less performance, more being.


QUIET LUXURY, ROOTED IN NATURE
Set directly on the shores of Lake Fuschl, Vogl's Nest draws its strength from what is already there — water, stone, wood, calm and genuine hospitality. The visual identity was designed to reflect exactly that: natural and warm, with a color world inspired by softness, harmony and closeness to nature. The same spirit carries through every touchpoint of the brand experience.
Drawing on zooom's long-standing connection to Japan, an onsen-inspired heated stone pool at the lake's edge took shape — a symbol of quiet luxury deeply connected to its surroundings.
